Key Concepts
Landscape leverages a number of alternative data sources to take an automated, data driven approach to supporting your funds top of funnel sourcing.
Use the tab bar below to learn a little more about the key concepts of sourcing within Landscape.

A signal feed is a saved search that defines the type of opportunities you are looking to uncover. It can be something straightforward like "US Stealth Founders", or totally custom such as "AI Companies started by founders with a PhD, who previously worked at OpenAI"
You can add as many signal feed as you want by selecting one from our large pre-configured library, or by building your own custom feed.
Once a Signal Feed is configured, any opportunity that matches your criteria will be added to the feed as a Signal. By default, your feeds will be ordered with the most recent Signals at the top, however you can use the Sort By option to re-order this feed by Oldest First, or by Founder Rank first.

A signal is an opportunity that has been uncovered through Landscape.
It could be a founders, new product launch, companies, trending Github repository, or much more.
Where possible, Landscape uses LLMs to enrich Signals with information including Founder Traits, Startup Summaries, Startup Sectors, Startup Business Model, Relevant Founder Experiences.

Landscape's data is refreshed daily, and whenever new Signals have been discovered that match the criteria of any of your Signal Feeds, the count of new signals will be shown below.
This is helpful for helping to prioritise which the new signals to triage through, and is included in a weekly report that lands in your inbox every Monday morning.

Landscape has been designed to support lightning fast triaging through new opportunities for your investment team.
You can easily fly through new top of funnel opportunities by using our triage system, by either Hiding, or Saving a Signal to remove it from your feed.
Don't worry, you'll still be able to retrieve previously hidden Signals, and you can also set up CRM integrations to push any Signal you Save direct into your CRM.
