〰️Add Signal Feeds

Landscape captures more than 100k+ fresh opportunities in a given year, but in order to make sure you see them, you'll need to add Signal Feeds to your Landscape account.

You can think of Signal Feeds as "codifying" your investment thesis, and define the types of opportunities you want to see.

Let's dive into how to set them up.

Add a Pre Configured Feed

Landscape comes custom loaded with a wide library of pre-configured Signal Feeds.

You can browse through our library of feeds by clicking Add a Signal Feed, and then selecting a feed to subscribe to that matches your investment approach.

Once you select a Feed, you'll be asked to confirm the Geographies you want to see these opportunities in, and give your Feed a name, and it's as simple as that.

After adding a Signal Feed, it will automatically populate with every relevant Signal we have discovered since launching Landscape, as well as add any new relevant Signals we discover on a daily basis.

Creating Custom Signal Feeds

Custom Signal Feeds are one of the most powerful sourcing feature on Landscape.

They allow you to really narrow down and define the types of opportunities you want to see in a lot more details.

Create a new Custom Signal Feed by hitting the button above.

Once you click "+ Create a Custom Signal", you'll be taken through a multi-step wizard that will allow you to define certain criteria that you want to be uncovered in that feed, you can set criteria such as:

  • Founder Location

  • Founder Languages

  • Founder's University Background

  • Previous Company Work Experience

  • Previous Job Functions

  • Founder Traits

  • Business Models

  • Sectors

Once you've finished setting your criteria, give your Custom Feed a name, an icon, and choose whether you want to share it with your team mates.

Great, now you've set your Thesis to power your Priority Signals, and added a range of Signal Feeds, let's move onto Top Workflow Tips to help you power through your proactive sourcing.
